Philippine visa laws are extremely convenient for the international traveler. Visitors from most countries, including the US and all of Europe, automatically receive a visa-free entry stamp for 21 days upon arrival. Citizens of Brazil and Israel receive a 59 day entry. Hong Kong and Macao passport holders receive a 7 day entry.

The Philippine’s major international hub is Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Long and short haul flights originating from the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa are operated out of Terminal 1. Major carriers include Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Airlines, Continental Airlines, Emirates, Gulf Air, Japan Airlines, KLM, Korean Air, Kuwait Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Qantas, and Singapore Airlines. The national carrier, Philippine Airlines, is housed in Terminal 2, and flies to the US, Canada, and much of Asia.
An alternative entry point is the Mactan-Cebu international airport, on Cebu in the Visayas. This airport is served by major carriers including Cathay Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and Asiana Airways.
